So, yesterday, my partner and I went to a car boot sale and I bought two vinyl records -

Death Cult - God's Zoo
AND
Black Sabbath - Paranoid.

God's Zoo is the only vinyl Death Cult ever released (and also in a limited number of copies), so I was expecting it to be worth quite a bit of money.

I brought them home and looked up the price of them both this morning to find out that Death Cult - God's Zoo is only worth about £20, whereas Black Sabbath - Paranoid is worth almost £300!

I've played it once and now I'm debating whether to frame it or keep it out to play... HELP!

P.S: Even if I did keep it out, it'd still stay in pretty good condition because I care for my vinyl collection like they are made of gold, but it's the fact it's worth £300! :S

Take it to a record store and see if you can get them appraised. I wouldn't trust that price for a record everyone owns after 40 years.

What? I have a copy of Paranoid, there's no way it's worth that much unless it's never been played before.

I doubt that as well.

It either has to be some special edition, local market edition, a pulled back edition or whatever making it rare.

Seems a bit to common for that kind of price, to be honest. Where'd you find the price?

Keep it safe and look after it though. You never know, we might be wrong, it might be very special.

Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/PARANOID-Vinyl-BLACK-SABBATH/dp/B00023GFOA) $22 whatever that is in pounds but yeah, keep playing it I say. I think you just found a dud price or something.

Maybe an original print is worth that much?
