Can Girls and Boys Be Bestfriends?

My best friend that am extremely close to my heart is a guy, but it seems like we're falling for each other...So I'm curious if guys and girls can be friends or will romance ruin it...? We aren't sure and want opinions.

It's perfectly fine to be best friends. It doesn't have to be romantic at all. But most if the time it ends up that way. But it sounds like you two really like each other. If your not, speak up. It needs to be known so no one gets hurt emotionally. It helps to talk about these things and let people in on feelings. Especially if it could damage you and someone else. Just follow your heart and it will be fine.

Jess I saw your post there, Sprouse530 is who i'm talking about. We've had past feelings, overcame them to help each other get through extremely tough times and slowly the feelings have blossomed back into our lives, we aren't sure how to pursue if we have bf/gf

Well I think of my girlfriend as a best friend, we also have sex sometimes and go out. I do have friends that are girls too though.
