I think if you are talking about the forums, its because people are more open here and there isn't as much stigma attached to being honest. If you had a room full of 500 teens, and asked them to raise their hand on who does it, you might get only a few answers. but blind fold everyone and put on earphones so no one can see or hear each other, and I'd bet you'd get an entirely different amount of hands raised.

Teen girls, at least from what I've noticed at school anyway, tend to be closed off with what they admit/talk about in real life. Probably fear of being chastised. But since the forums provide some anonymity, its easier to be truthful.

I'm going to agree with the majority here on this and just like you can't include all guys by what a few do I think the same is true for girls. I still believe guys have the upper hand on this but not by much. Even if it was a level playing field i think girls still show more self control.

I've noticed that before with some girls, their hormones are making them horny since they are definitely into puberty already.

We are humans and therefore if this was 2000 years ago, they should already be having kids or at least be married a lot of the time. This seems off-topic but I'm trying to get the point across that we are evolved to do sexual things very young and generally girls would do it younger than the men.

Yeah i find this as well, sadly its because of the way society is. Society teaches us that its wrong for women to think sexually, or that it is unladylike to masturbate frequently or have sex frequently. Its getting better and its not as bad as it used to be in the past because people are realizing that that's far from the truth, and that its perfectly healthy for a woman to think about sex/masturbation frequently. For men, if we don't have sex enough or masturbate enough, other people might say: whats wrong with you? are you gay? blah blah. Its a double standard and its stupid, but sadly its an old way of viewing men and women, and we have yet to "shake" that view off from society. One day i hope we can all live the way we like and freely without having to be worried about being judged on things that are perfectly natural and normal (such as sexual activity, alone or with a partner).

Biologically, both genders have the same level of sexuality but in my opinion it's the way society depicts them that means whether they are openly displaying that sexuality. Women are brought up, on average, to be open about their emotions and are seen as sexual objects from quite early ages. Men, however, are normally told to keep emotions on the inside, creating 'manliness' and because of this, and the obvious sign of arousal, males are taught that personal sexuality is not okay. In my experience, girls can be more open about personal sexual details and can act 'crazier' with males because this is perceived to be attractive. Look at society- music videos and women figures are seen as more popular the more sexualised they are. Men are able to be sexual about women directly, objectifying them is a matter of society, however they are driven away from being as open about their personal sexuality. Therefore, girls can be seen as hornier because when they express their arousal and need for sex they are more explicit in comparison to men.
