Girls and Guys be Friends?

hey guys im woundering whats your thought on guys and girls JUST being friends? like i have a best friend but im falling for her because idk just because shes amazing but i guess the question is, Can Guys and Girls Just Be Friends?

Sure they can. Both hetero and homosexual guys can be friends with girls. I'm friends with a number of girls and our friendships won't ever turn into anything more, and the same can be said for most of my guy friends. Some people just won't have feelings for each other in a romantic kind of way.

Yeah, guys and girls can just be friends, and not every straight guy wants to have sex with a girl. Everything depends on your view of women because if a guy is raised to think of girls as sex objects, then it would be hard for that guy to be friends with a girl. However, if the guy views women as people, then being a friend is totally possible.

I am guessing you might have liked your friend more than a friend for a while, and you are simply acting on your feelings. I doubt you would fall for all of your friends who are girls, and this particular person must have something special.

I absolutely believe in having good guy friends. It's good to have friends that you can trust, no matter what sex they are. Their different viewpoints are very helpful too.

Well I'm gay so I definitely can :p

But on the flipside, I can easily be friends with boys! I have loads of guy best friends, and I only have a crush on one of them. I think EVERYBODY who has at least one friend they fall for, saying that. I don't know one single person who hasn't (other than my socially awkward friend who barely even talks to girls, so he falls for my friends instead :p).

It is so possible for guys and girls to be ONLY friends. I have loads of girl friends and we are just friends, and I have my relationship.

That assumption annoys me too. One of my best friends is a guy. And I'm gay, going to an all girls school LOL. Obviously I don't fancy all of them and they're all my friends xD
