In English we did a poem based on Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro which we're reading at the moment - it wasn't strictly our own work though, we were only allowed to use words that were in the extract of the book we were given, so it was more about how we manipulated the words. Just thought I'd share it here, I'm quite proud of my work :p It's the moment where one of the main characters dies.

Second donation,
Small hours,
By herself,
Dull light recognised.
Willing her eyes to go right inside herself,
Patrol and marshall all the better the seperate areas of pain.
She wasn't accessible to me, far away inside herself,
Another flood of pain.
She looked at me, scarily unnatural,
Little islands of lucidity, gazes locked.
The moment was over, another flood of pain,
She was away again.
