Hey,
Do any of you guys experience razor burn? How do you deal with it?
I kept getting razor burn that wouldn't go away no matter how much moisturiser I used after shaving, so I switched to an electric shaver, which didn't give me razor burn, but left me with an uneven shave.

I would use some pre-shaving oil on your face to help with the rasor burn because that does a lot to reduce irritation from the rasor. You might want to try different brands of rasors as well as shaving creams/gels to see if that would make a difference in your case. Also, I hate to say this, but you also want to make sure your method of shaving is right especially if you just have started shaving.
I agree with you about the uneven shave with electric rasors, and I only used an electric one for a short time. If an electric rasor does not give you the results you like, then going back to a manual rasor would be your best bet. However, if all manual rasors seem to give you trouble, then you are probably going to be limited to electric rasors. If possible, it might not hurt to consult with a doctor to figure out if you might have some underlying problem with your skin when it comes to shaving with a manual rasor.

maybe try the moisturiser before use instead of shave gel with a razor.
get a good make disposable with a lube strip.
Ok spalsh face with warm water 3 or 4 times or rinse flannel in hot press to face.
apply moisturiser on damp skin - use razor allow to cut to not force it.
rinse off with cool / cold water pat dry
wait say 15 minutes apply moisturiser but not to much.
experiment with differant balms etc but avoid ones with alcohol in them.
