I really like this song, but can't for the life of me figure out the meaning of it! Abby? Somebody? Help?

Well could you tell me? I listen to it like 2 times a day and can't get it.

You have to take it in the context of the concept behind The Wall. In other words, listen to the entire album and then just follow the story. It makes sense to listen along to the album in whole and not just one or two songs.

the song in a sentance:

Pink's emotional journey into the past is both interrupted and heightened when his management breaks into the hotel room and has a doctor inject him with a drug that will snap him out of his drug-induced malaise, ensuring that he can still perform at a concert later that evening.

But in order to gain the full story and meaning you have to listen to the entire album.

Also the wall itself it a depiction of a barrier being put up to hide pink (Fiction character which can be depicted to be the real life singer) from the external pressure of being in the band ect
