I was wondering if the colors purple and orange go together in an outfit. :what: also what colors go with orange. And is it okay for a guy to care about what. He wears/how he looks? Or is that weird? :confused:

I would say with purple and orange you would have to hit it just right... I think the best way to pull those colors off would be to not have a neon orange... just a subtle orange and purple would go fine together. I think orange best goes with a blue tone, and maybe a blue-violet/ blue-green. Its perfectly fine to care about what you wear and how you look, its important to represent yourself in a way that you feel best.

Orange and purple in very "Earth-y" tones would look fine together.
Bright orange and a very dark, almost black, purple look fine together.
Pastel oranges and purples can look good together.
Bright oranges and purples do not look good together.

Caring about how you look is fine, and so is not caring; it's a matter of personal preference.

Even in art that is a tricky combo, pair two colors like that with a neutral or another secondary to pair with the orange. Purple and Orange are secondary colors, so primaries and tertiaries would go well with it. Can orange and purple be together alone? Of course, if you know how to pair colors and have an eye for color and style.
