Today my guidance consoles at school finally got me to open up. I talked about all the verbal and physical abuse and all that stuff. But this is where the Wtf comes in, it turns out after she heard this she called cps... I don't know what to do, how my parents will react, or if they will take me away, and I'm scarred...

If what you told her led to believe that you would be hurt further, were hurting yourself, are still being hurt, or are going to hurt people, it is her duty to call the police.
She is simply doing her job as a teacher, and if she had believed those things without reporting them to your parents, or if it were very severe, to the police, she could lose her job and I believe her license to teach.

At least, this is what our teachers tell us at school.

ik this suck ik its scary and it sucks but they have to report itt, they have 5 things to look for and report,
1) Danger to self
2) Danger to others
3) contiuned abuse
4) abuse on elderly or kids (kids are classifiyed as anyone under 12)
5) Patterns

These are the 5 things everyone that works with kids or works with suicide prevt gets taught, then we get taught the way to talk them down. shes doing whats best just let them do their job, im always here to talk if u need too

I went to a guidance counselor session with Sprouse, and another boy. I was terrified to tell her that I cut, and what makes me cut etc. But Sprouse was there, holding my hand, and reassuring me that it will be okay, I just need to talk it out. The lady was doing her job, and it could help for the better you won't know till it comes. If you need someone to talk to I'm gonna be on every day. I'm new yes, but this site inspired me!

This happened to me, so I know exactly how you feel right now.

She would've told her if she was going to call or not, if you "heard" it from someone, other than your principal or the guidance counselor herself. I wouldn't believe it. What they did with me, was that they talked to me at school to see if coming to the house was necessary. If it is, they'll talk with you and your parent(s) at the same time. Then they'll talk to your parent(s) while you're in another room, afterwards it switches and your parent(s) go in another room while you talk with the agent. At the end you guys come back together and see what happens next. They hardly ever take children away, in some cases they just keep an eye on the family.

They only get involved if someone is at risk to themselves or others. In the end, you'll be glad it happened. I know it'll be scary at first and when and if it happens, but it really is worth it.

If you need anything else, feel free to pm me, okay!
