This depends on how you dress. Personally, I do not use fashion magazines, websites, etc.
If you read fashion magazines ( like Elle or Cosmo ) you will receive opinions based on what models and celebrities are wearing at the time. However, this does not mean that it will be popular around where you live.
If you are looking for a style that is "in" at the moment, try observing the people around you and paying attention to what they're wearing. Incorporate that into your wardrobe. Remember, what's popular in Los Angeles may not be popular in Boston; it all depends on what people are doing where you live.
If that's not what you're looking for, I'd tell you to check out some thrift shops and small, independent clothing stores to develop your own style. Decide what you think looks great, even if other people don't like it, and wear it confidently.

If you want to be "in-style" and fit in, wear Abercrombie, American Eagle, Aeropastale, Hollister. If you want to make your own style have fun with it, if you want a normal style that tries to say "I have my own style" lol there's a style for that to.

I make my own style with what is popular today. This is what most people do just try things on and if you like it keep it, if you don't then don't wear it.

I've never worn any huge clothes style like Abercrombie, so there I can't really tell you to wear that, unless you really want too. Honestly, I really like slim straight jeans (they aren't too huge, but they aren't too small) and some plain color v. My friends that are girls tell me that they usually like guys wearing something like that.

Same, I make up my own style and don't often change it - if people copy my style then I don't mind

Highstreet, try river island or even primark for a cheaper alternative.. plain / graphic t shirts with jeans is a simple look and suede/cloth pumps go well!

I usually wear a greaser kinda look but dress punkish. usually dark color pants or khaki's. and I wear vans shoes. shirts I wear baseball tees, band shirts, and button up/flannels. I some times wear a leather or denim jacket or vest depending on the weather.

It is very much important for you that what you wear and how you look in public. The more you look simple with casual clothes at running days the more your credit become popular in the public. It is up to you that what kind of clothes you like to wear in running days and special days because nowadays most of teenagers like to wear trendy or designer clothes.

Just like what Rachel Zoe said. Style is letting everyone know who you are without having to speak.
