I know this is for girls, but let me give you a boy's opinion on how we see pubic hair on a girl in the U.S. Pubes on a girl are A TOTAL TURNOFF. Guys are the ones who worry about stuff like if shaving their chest, or legs, or cock will make them look younger. Honestly, if your parents think its time to get a razor, do so. From where I'm from, guys who havent gone through puberty make jokes about girls who dont shave. I dont know why, but they do. Dont take my advice as a YES or NO answer its your body and do as you wish, but just consider it. Hope my advice was helpful, : )

you dont have to shave, it is totally up to you. I'm 16 and I just started shaving last year because of my bikini line. I think it's cool to have a landing strip but I keep messing it up so I just shave it all off. Use a good lotion after shaving also.

When I was younger and started getting hair it wasn't very uniform, so looked a bit silly so I just shaved it
If anyone asks or teases about you not having any you can honestly say you shave/wax/etc and they will accept that because its the cool thing to do

I agree its totally a personal preference. There might be reasons why you think you should shave or maybe you dont give a sh*t about what others (esp boys) think and leave it natural. Either way your choice so it's right for your body.

you should do whatever make YOU feel comfortable. If having hair makes you feel older and more mature, and you like feeling that way, then you should not shave. As far as boys go, only the immature ones will make "jokes". the ones who really care about you wont care if you shave or not.

I started getting pubes when i was 13 but didn't start shaving until last year before I turned 16. I practiced on shaving my legs like leaving a landing strip then I went to my pubes to leave a landing strip but decided to just shave bald, it was much easier to shave bald than try to keep a landing strip in good sharp condition. I would definitely shave it. I know that guys like it a lot better shaved and tbh it feels nicer and smoother. I think that all hair below your head is better shaved so i personally shave my arms and legs and everything too
