Am I High?

Since this is the drugs/medicine I thought this is the appropriate place to put this. If it isn't you can move it. So on the bus the last three rows are reserved for H.S. students only. A friend sits in the front of me in the first row. I sit in the second row and behind me.... Well he likes to smoke weed. He'll come on the bus after smoking it and smell like it. To me it's one of the most awful smells ever. Anyways after he gets on my eyes get droopy and I get really tired. Sometimes my nose burns if not stuffed up or it will clear If stuffed up. When he gets off in the afternoon I usually start to reenergize. So even though I'm not smoking the weed can I still get high from the aroma?

You can only get high from inhaling straight from the source or inhaling the smoke that the person expels. The aroma on his clothes will not make you high.

no you are not high, and cannot get high from simply being around someone who smoked weed. 95-98 percent of the THC (active ingredient in cannabis) is absorbed into the persons lungs within the first 2-5 seconds of inhalation. So that remaining 2-5 percent is exhaled into the surrounding air and then goes off into the atmosphere, not onto his clothes then magically into your lungs.

The most likely answer is that no your not high but your brain is playing tricks on you. Friend smoked weed --> You smelt and "inhaled" weed --> Logically you'd think your high.

You cant get high from the smell of weed. Thats kinda like saying you can get drunk from watching people drink or from smelling alcohol...
