I support any type of stem cell research.
Do you think it's right or wrong?

When they kill the fetus to provide the stem cells is when I think it's wrong

To me it seems that at most times, people tend to not notice the various types of stem cell research and only acknowledge embryonic stem cell research and germ cell research. Where really most of the success is in adult stem cell research.

I support adult stem cell research more than the other types, because it has had proven success.

I support it 100%. It helps the medical world greatly and can be used to fight deadly diseases to save lives.

We need more to find new cures

If some people oppose it that's too bad IMO

Some ppl oppose it on religious grounds

Im for it; kill 1 to save hundreds. Doesnt matter if it's a fetus.

It's unnecessary to use embryonic stem cells anyway as they invented a type of adult stem cell that behaves like the embryonic ones, so the embryonic cells are obsolete. So no need to kill fetuses.

The problem with stem cell research is that it looks to provide cures for a lot of serious diseases. I say this is a problem because pharmaceutical companies don't want cures. They want ongoing treatment because thats where the huge profits lie.

That being said, I'm 100% in favor of stem cell research.

The problem is genetic engineering and people having designer babies.

I think experimentation is fine if it takes place within the abortion time frame, so it's acceptable in that way.

Although, there is probably someone doing it all in secret. It's good if it saves lives, but not if it directly improves the lives of the vast majority because then it could get dangerous.

As long as it is used for medical benefits, I'm totally for it.

I think this is a good thing and most stem cell research dosen't include killing a healthy fetus. At least not the legitimate research.

I also agree, and on the idea, stem cells reaserch has also shown to be able to create meat for consumtion from the stemcells of piglets, so inturn creating a new form of consumption without killeing livestock!:D

I'm for it even if you need to "kill" a fetus after all to quote Spock "the needs of the many out weighs the needs of the few"
