Don't know the sexuality of my crush

I don't know if my crush is straight or gay but he keeps giving me hints and everyone keeps telling me he's hitting on me. He even mentioned a "handjob" when talking about how he owes me big. I don't know what I should do since I'm afraid to tell him how I feel as I don't want it to be awkward between us if he is straight. What would you do in this situation? I'm so confused and I have no one to go to for advice on this.

Well, you have the hints, what people tell you, you could while joking mention he offered a hand-job as repayment from whatever he owes you. He might go all nutz and say "what are you a < demeaning word here>" and you can comeback with, "you offered first, so who's what", and laugh and forget about your doubts and most likely he will think you were not serious.

Or it could happen that he will perform it and then you will know that at least he's bi-curious.

The only real way to find out if someone is gay or bi or whatever, is to either ask the person directly, or ask someone that knows him well enough. Usually, if I want to find out if a girl is gay, I'll ask someone I know or her directly. People won't get offended by you asking, assuming they know why you're asking of course. If he's giving you hints, he's either messing around with you or he's actually not straight. You have to ask, and as for telling him you like him, sometimes you have to grab life by the horns and just come out with it.

The way I got my boyfriend was by coming out to him. He just said he was gay as well. If your already out just walk up and say "Soo about that handjob" or something like that. Nobody on vt can tell you if he's gay you would need to do some digging yourself.

I'm not asking anyone to tell me his sexuality. I wasn't sure how to go about this. I don't want to ruin our friendship and make it awkward between us if he is actually straight but yet I don't want to wait too long if he is interested in me. I wanted to see if anyone on here went through something similar.
