Anyways, I confided in friend that i liked this girl. Naturally by the end of the day everyone knows (including her). Its funny how it happened actually... This one girl was saying that I was gay and my friend was like well that doesn't add up cause he just told me he likes so and so. I haven't talked to the girl since then which is odd cause we're friends who sit across from each other in studyhall. I'd just like the awkwardness to go away. Any advice on how to stop being called by a combination of our two names would be nice also.

Wait for something else to happen during school, I know it seems bad now but it will really improve. Soon someone else will like someone, or a fight will happen, or someone will kiss someone. For now just take it all in your stride, just laugh it off when people mention it.

It's a sad but true fact there is this grape vine of communication in almost every school and if you really want something to get around fast then tell that person not to to say anything to anyone else and by the end of the day everyone will know your buisness. As far as your problem time will ease the awkwardness of this situation. like whats aready been said there will be something new for everyone to gossip about. About the girl in question i wouldn't make a big deal over what she has undoubtely heard and just act the same towards her that you did in the past and see where it goes.
