A series of images published on a Chinese forum for Samsung fans shows a smartphone that users claim is the new Galaxy S4.
The handset appears slightly larger than the S3 and The Verge, which picked up the photos, says the forum claims the phone has a 1080p display, runs Android 4.2.1, has a 1.8GHz Universal5410 processor and 2GB of RAM.
Those specs, says The Verge, tally with recent rumours about the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Universal5410, says The Verge, is "likely a codename for the Exynos Octa 5410, an eight-core processor with four A15 cores for power and four A7 cores for power efficiency".

What the bloody hell is going on with cores in phones these days. The manufacturers are yet to realise those cores are useless until apps start utilizing them, which is also stupid as we still have single core phones being used that can play those games and once an app has been made to play on only these multi core devices, it will be useless on those that haven't got said cores.

My phone has 4 cores. I can monitor it at any time, the CPU speed along with cores being used. It's 4 cores @ 1.7GHz. I don't think I have ever seen all four cores being used at the same time. Also, the most used speeds on my phone are 1.4 and 1.5Ghz. Why? Because they're freaking phones for gods sake. My computer is dual core and runs fine. We're adding things that aren't needed. Want to play a HD games console on a big display? Hello, that's what games consoles are for, not phablets.

As for the design, if these are the real deal, Samsung have just slacked and been incredibly lazy. It's basically what Apple have done, practically same design with just a larger screen. And just when I thought I had my total respect for Samsung, they've completely lost it. But have fun those that are planning to use all 8 cores at 1.8 Ghz somehow, this phone is definitely for you. And by that, I mean about 2 +/-1 % of the worlds population. It's seriously not worth it.

I honestly don't know how it looks different, it looks like its the same as their other models. My excitement for wanting the phone just died.
