Has anyone been to a good punk rock show lately?

I just came hoem from MxPx, which was really good, although a bit heavy on new stuff. It looked like they were filming their DVD there (maybe you'll see me jumping around looking like a sweaty, ugly drunk punk in the front) and I think the song choice may have been because of that. Still a good show.

Who else puts on a good show?

Seriously?? Mxpx is one of my favorite bands. I saw them and met them in philly.What other stuff do you like?

I saw Green Day yesterday in a small theater, only 1000 people there. I was front row to the side and it was an amazing show. The band were so interactive with the audience, Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre each posed for my camera and it was just a great show all around, though short by their standards.

I saw Green Day but it was in an arena. It would be so good to see them in a club show or something like that. I don't like arena shows.

I have green day tickets, can't wait. I've also seen blink 182 live.

Yeah, they are more like radio rock pop than punk, same as MxPx really.

Did you have a good time at Soundwave? Melbourne wasn't so great this year.
