Mentally maturing...

So, I was thinking the other day, and it occured to me: do we mature naturally and eventually or do we have to make an effort to change?

I think it's due to effort. I started maturing when I had less times to play or socialize. School requires time to do assessments/homework and all that. You just make a continuous change from immature to mature and if things like money and social life wasn't a problem eveyone would be small children :P
