Is this weird?

My twin brother and I share a room and sometimes he gets into my bed to me his if we can't sleep. We don't do anything in bed apart from cuddle. But I just wear panties and a bra when sleeping and he just his briefs. It is ok to do this?

Yes me and my bro sleep in the same bed at my dads house. But we are both guys so it might just be weird for you.

As long as its nothing sexual. Anything like that is wrong.

Well if I had a sister, I wouldn't cuddle with her. Then again, I don't cuddle with my family ever, so I guess it makes sense. My advise is to be careful that certain things don't happen while your asleep...

Well, although some might think it's creepy, there isn't really anything wrong with it.
It's probably best to keep this private though, so you or your brother aren't ridiculed by anyone.

It's been said that twins share a special connection and what you decribe in your post sounds harmless but not knowing your age it's hard to say how appropriate it is. I would think that if your both 13 then this might not be as weird as if you were 15 or older.

He's my brother, I trust him not to try anything. We've been doing this since we were like 7 and had to shares room

That's fine why would people try make something gross about it
He's your twin, you are closer than most like two sides of the same coin
We don't wear pjs and it never freaked me out if we had to share

I don't think this is right. I have a twin sister, and our "special connection" has never stretched so far that we've cuddled. We used to share the same bed when we were younger, but around 11 or 12 we got separate rooms and haven't shared one since.

You don't need to be in the bed with your brother. You may feel secure with him, but that may not last for very long. When guy's hormones start raging uncontrollably, you'd be surprised what they'll try to satisfy their desires. I assume since you are on a teen site, that you are a teen. Teen siblings shouldn't be sharing beds or cuddling. Things like that lead to incest

Maybe her and her brother are more emotional than you? Some people need cuddles!
I definitely sleep better with someone I care about than alone

JoeHillsTSD
March 9th, 2013, 08:17 AM
Ok, so let's say that they have a stronger emotional connection than me and my twin. That doesnt excuse the physical contact that is going on. One of my teachers said this and I haven't found it to be true until the past few years: Guys have two heads, and when hormones are running, they think with the wrong one.

When sex is on the mind of a teenage guy, everything else, including common sense, becomes clouded. Actions aren't thought out, and we focus on one thing and one thing only, satisfying that urge.

Even DCF recognizes and enforces that siblings should no longer share beds (or even bedrooms) once early teen-dom hits.

That's the Muslim mentality - cant be around girls like that because they will make boys lose control... that's pathetic
If you do t think you could stop yourself from doing something you shouldn't with your sister then you should chop them off now and be a monk or something

That's pathetic
She said they have separate beds- he just sometimes needs to join her to get to sleep not always there

JoeHillsTSD
March 9th, 2013, 08:32 AM
Whatever. The fact of the matter is still that it is inappropriate for the two to be sleeping together. Despite what excuses you make for them, the two shouldn't be sharing beds.

Don't judge others because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon
There is nothing wrong with cuddling up and sleeping
Just because you are unable to do that without it being sexual doesn't mean the rest of us are like you
I've spent nights between both my brothers trying not to freeze to death camping and they didn't mess with me or anything

JoeHillsTSD
March 9th, 2013, 08:48 AM
Have I judged anyone? No. I never made any judgements about anyone. If anyone is passing judgement around here, it is you. Maybe you want to look at my posts once again.

You're experiences are different from what is being discussed here. You are talking survival. Here we are talking pleasure.

And just because I don't cuddle up with my siblings doesn't give you the right to assume that I don't have the emotional capacity or sexual suppression to show my family I love them.

Also, I never said anything about what I was "unable" to do. What I was saying was based on my experiences (and the experiences of close friends) who have dealt with being a teenage guy. And unless there is something you forgot to include in your info, I'm pretty sure that is something you havent dealt with.

As long as nothing inappropriate happens, I'd say it's fine. If it's just because he can't fall asleep, I don't any problems. Just don't say any warnings. That just gives him ideas.

You're right!!!

But what if he got "Morning wood", that would probable make it seem weird especially if they were cuddling. And every guy gets morning wood and its an unconscious thing sooo he wouldn't be able to prevent it.

Yeah, that piece of advise was kinda stupid on my part. It's fine. Do whatever.

And? It's natural, happens to most makes over 12 every day - it has nothing to do with cuddling a sister or whoever
He can either leave it or deal with it somehow

I see nothing really technically wrong with it. How old are you guys? I could see it getting weird at some point if you were to get horny and let your hormones obscure your good judgment.

Idk why you people think this cud be sex related? I have a lil bro, we share room and sometimes we sleep 2gether cuz he needs idk 2 feel safe I guess, and I hug him, and sleep tied to him, but never cross my mind sexual stuff. There was a time when we needed to be more closed, cuz our mom left us.

I don't think it's weired or creepy.
i think for a lot of people, the first place their mind goes is some perverted sexual place.
it sounds like it's just two young kids sleeping in the same bed...no big deal....why make more out of it than it is

I dont necessarily think there is anything wrong with it if nothing is going on. My question is why does he get into your bed? why cant he stay in his bed?

my younger brother often gets in my bed because it helps him sleep, but we're both boys. I like he feels safe in bed with me.

twins have a special connection no one understands. Whether it be twin boys, twin girls, or a twin boy and girl. As long as nothing happens I don't see why it would be wrong.

I'd stay awake until he falls asleep, then get out and sleep on the floor. I guess it's OK, but thats getting too close for MY taste.
