Has anyone done any 3D Modeling before? And I'm not talking google sketch up, I mean proper 3Ds MAX making characters and objects...
I want to start but JESUS CHRIST it's the hardest thing I have ever done in the entirety of my whole life. FUCK.
Anyone any good and know any tutorials? It took me three hours to make two planes, put them in the right position and put two reference images on...
I mean, google search didn't even tell me how to move the camera around! (It's clicking down the scroll on your mouse by the way)

I have experience with Maya 8.5, some on Blender, and Unity (although Unity works best with models imported from Blender). It is VERY hard, but once you get the hang of it then it becomes awesome. Then again, 3D modeling specializes into 3 parts, making textures, making the models, and animating. Making the models is probably the easiest. I recommend you to use Blender (its free) since it is slightly easier to learn and there are lots of Blender tutorials out there on many things.
