It's the Brit's version. We have no local version of it. However, there are rumours around that Channel 9 are looking at dumping Millionaire Hot Seat (aka Who wants to be a Millionaire with different rules to speed up the game) with a local version of Tipping Point to improve ratings leading into the 6pm News. Channel 7 have the local version of The Chase. Although the Aust version of The Chase is okay, the British version is better. The host is funny and I love how from time to time the produces set him up with provocative questions where his mind goes to the gutter and it's hilarious.
