So I was lying in my room just now and all of a sudden got hit with some pretty severe chest pains. There've been a couple of times where I had like a flash of pain for like maybe a second or two, but those were few and far between. This was like a good five minutes where I could barely move and it actually hurt to breathe. I've had pretty bad cramps all day, which I obviously assiociate with PMS, but the chest pains were just like cramps except...in my chest. Idk do you think I should be worried? It really freaked me out, I'm not gonna lie...

i think you should see a doc, if nothing else, just to set your mind at ease. otherwise you will probably keep worrying about it, which won't help at all.

That happens to me sometimes, it's a "PMS" thing. For me, it comes every so often, and especially during...y'know. Don't worry about it, it will go away.

It's probably just your feminen processes (:P). But I'd be sure and go to a doctor.

unless it becomes frequent you shouldn't worry too much about it. i would just wait until your next yearly check-up (if you have one) and ask the doc.
i'm a guy and i used to get random chest pains that freaked me out lol. i'm pretty sure it was mostly psychological because i thought i had appendicitis. after i learned the area was nowhere near my appendix i stopped getting them haha.
of course i can't relate to pms, so no help there in comparing that to normal pains

Have you been dehydrated lately? It's unusual, but dehydration can cause chest and muscular pains.

Alrighty the general consensus seems to be that it's happened to other people before and isn't anything much to worry about, but see a doctor if it happens again. Alright cool, thanks everyone :daisy:
