I'm currently running an ATI Radeon HD 5770 gpu, and as any ATI user knows, the graphics card comes with its own settings manager. The other day I found a DVI / HDMI converter cable in my basement, and that caused me to start experimenting with multiple monitor setups.
Now I have my primary monitor and my TV both connected to my graphics card, and everything is working great. The only problem is with the primary monitor settings. If I open a web browser (or any program) it will open on my primary monitor, however if I drag it over to my extended desktop and close the browser from that desktop the browser will only reopen on that screen. I then have to reopen the browser and then drag the window back over to my primary monitor.
I know it sounds like something pointless to bitch about, but it does get quite annoying if I'm using the TV for anything other than an extended desktop. Does anyone know if there's a setting to get this to stop happening? I can't seem to find anything on the catalyst control manager or on the web.
