Guess what, I killed another laptop. I'm using my *cough* fourth one. Anyways...this blue background wasn't in my last laptop.....how do I get rid of the blue?? It's really annoying :/

Using Chrome...Windows 7...

Switch between themes and see if that does anything. Check if it's a highlight or the box is actually blue, and also try switching browsers too.

Switching themes doesn't work, nor does switching browsers. It's also in IE. I'm starting to think it has to do with the brand of computer this laptop is..."lenovo"...sigh :/

Lenovo is pretty good last I checked (they acquired IBM's laptop business, which was very high quality.)

Does the blue background only show up when you select the text box or is it constantly there? Do other themes have oddly colored text boxes or is only the one effected?

It only appears if I put my cursor in a textbox. When switching to other themes, the blue background remains

Sounds like some sort of Accessibility feature... what happens if you try it under another User Account?

the background just vanished -_- so weird.

EDIT: Now it's back! sheesh -_-
