So you know the saying "99% of guys masturbate, the other 1% lies about it", well is this the same with girls? I've had this conversation with my girl friend and she has said that she never has masturbated and that most girls don't. Is this true or is the saying the same for girls?

I think girls as a whole do masturbate less partly because of the stigma also other factors, but also because of the difference in hormones, but I'd say the majority of girls do, but again, a lot don't. We all know a lot of boys masturbate several times a day. Girls don't "need" to as much, they usually have a lower sex drive.

That 99 Percent your talking about for guys is a little high as well i think unless your going to include everyone who has ever tried it out of curosity but decided it wasn't that important. Girls on the other hand i think is considerably lower and i don't think it has as much to do with libido or the lack of it as compared to guys it's that with guys I think It's hard to ignore an erection. Girls on the other hand everything is more tucked in out of sight so it's less distracting. Another factor is many girls masturbate without the use of their hands so they may think this isn't really masturbating. I know when i was young I was always straddling things because it felt good. As for the vast numbers of sex toys on the market for women vs men I believe this has more to do with the fact that when women get married or are in a long term li-in relationship with guys they tend to have less frequent sex while at the same time women are reaching their peak sex drive.
