I was wondering if anyone has used the pill or gel form of testosterone replacement? Or is it safe to use this?

There should really not be a reason for most teens to use any kind of Testosterone replacement. This is probably something that should only be taken when directed by a medical professional. So to answer your question, it is probably safe if it is something that you truly need and have been instructed to take by a doctor. I have never had to take it.

I have known someone who had to take the gel form of testosterone because his body was not developed by the time he was 18. It is really tough to get on such therapy, and you have to be older and literally have nothing happen to you to get such treatment.

Testosterone therapy is still pretty new, and the long-term safety of it is still being studied. Over the short-term it does help guys grow pretty quickly and make up for the lack of natural testosterone that prevents them from growing to a normal size. Especially for those who use the gel packs you have to be real careful because if it gets onto women in your household it could cause them health issues, and if you have a younger pre-teen brother, then the medicine cannot come into contact with him because it could cause him to start puberty abnormally early.

Everything depends where you are with puberty and how old you are. If you honestly feel you are behind, then talk with your doctor and takes things from there.

It's definitely not safe, especially in puberty. (I took one of my dad's once and got super horny…
