Ubisoft is taking on pirates in the next installment of its Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which is expected to launch in October.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag follows last year's game, which was set during the American Revolution and featured a main character called Connor. The new game centres on Connor's grandfather, a pirate named Edward Kenway.
Black Flag is expected to feature full naval combat as well as a diving mode, all interspersed with the familiar Assassin's Creed trips back to the modern day.

I think it will be good, I haven't been disappointed with any of the AC games yet.

Looks really good. I felt assassins creed 3 was good but needed more story to it. Didn't connect to connor like I did with Ezio. But the combat was much improved. I just hope they haven't rushed it

Alright, I'm kinda excited. The first AC game I'm excited for since the Rome one (forgot which it was, it was with Cesare Borgia). The details I saw looked awesome, especially how you can get your own crew and ship!

They've milked the series to death. I never finished AC3 because I lost interest. The last Assassin's Creed game I actually enjoyed was AC Brotherhood. This game is probably going to suck, I have lost faith in Ubisoft to deliver an enjoyable AC game.
