this is super embarresing to talk about but, i have issues wetting the bed still, i have a really weak bladder, everytime i have to go it comes out of nowhere and half the time i dont make it to the bathroom, and i always have dreams about being on the toilet and then i wet myself.
i told my dad about it a few months ago, it was really hard for me to do that, so he got me some wetting underware, they ran out a long time ago.
he asked me if i was doing better and i told him yes cuz i was embarresed to tell him that i was still having issues.
i get really bad rashes and it makes it hard to walk around at school, and it can hurt really bad, i use baby power though.
if anyone has anything helpful to say, i would appreciate it.
thanks

Bed wetting is nothing to be embarrassed about, especially when you have no way to control it. Psychologist believe that bed wetting is commonly associated with a with a traumatic experience which may have affected your mental state in some way sometimes without you acknowledging it.
At any rate I do believe that it would be more appropriate to address this issue with perhaps a school Councillor rather than randoms on the internet, he/she will have the proper knowledge an training to help you overcome your problem.
Anyway hope I helped in someway.

Again, Bondi put it right.
Another thing you should try is to first not ingest any liquids 30 to 45 minutes before you go to bed, and just before getting into bed for reals, meaning you are about to fall asleep, a trip to the toilet will take most of your urine away, thus lowering the chance to have enough to actually wake up peeing urself.

Just wondering if you have ever injured your back? Do you have back pain or pain anywhere else?

I was just curious because if you have a bulging disk, it can cause you to lose control of your bladder and/or bowel movements.

Your problem is a lot more common than you think, and the fact that you are having this issue at this age means that you really need to see a urologist (a doctor who specializes in bladder problems). Be honest with your Father because you need help for your issue, and no one is going to make fun of you for having a weak bladder. Especially at this stage if your bladder cannot hold urine, then you have to be looked at. There are a lot of things a urologist can do to help you.
Over the short term, I would get one of those rubber/plastic covers that you can put around your mattress so that your urine doesn't get onto it. Also, definitely ask your Father for the wetting underwear that you found helpful.
Especially since you are getting rashes down there definitely seek medical help so that you are not uncomfortable. Quite a few of us were bed wetters well into being teens, and it just took some medical attention to fix things.

Try talking to the school nurse or your GP about it. Though bed wetting isn't common for a teenager, it does happen, so please know you are not alone :)
I used to know somebody that still wet the bed and at the time, he was about 18!
I heard somewhere that the body relaxes in pyjamas, so wearing clothes you wear in the daytime may stop it?
Also, surely your dad still knows you still wet the bed because he can smell it on your pyjamas or whatever you put in the wash?
Trust me, I don't think he'll think any differently of you if you tell him it still hasn't gone away :)
Good luck x

I'd tell a doctor too, maybe if ur checkup is less than a few weeks you could wait but otherwise you need to get it checked out, also for your rash try gold bond powder and I'd lightly moisturize the area

You might have under developed bladder for your age, meaning its to small to handle the amount of stuff that goes in it for your age. Or your kidneys are cleaning to quickly for it to keep up. But like someone else said don't eat/drink for a while before bed than go before bed and if that doesnt work have a quiet, but loud enough alarm wake you up to pee. If that all fail id go see a doctor, and I know it may be a bit embarrassing but I have to go to get checked put too, if that makes you feel any better

Chronic bed-wetting can be related to a physically and or neurologically immature bladder or a deep sleeping pattern. Individuals often sleep so deeply that they are not aware of the message the bladder sends to the brain saying it is full. Besides telling your dad I assume you have never discussed this with your doctor to determmine if the cause is Medical or Behavioral. The medical treatment is ussualy with drugs while behavioral treatment may take somewhat longer to show results, the improvement usually continues indefinitely. I would recommend refraining from taking in any liquids at least 3 or 4 hours before bedtime and if this seems to help it makes a strong case for immature bladder conditions. This is a condtion that is treatable so i would see your doctor find out whats going on.

I would keep putting on the baby powder. Remember, everyone has issues. There isn't a single person that isn't perfect. I know it's embarrassing but there are more humiliating things that could be happening to you instead. I suggest you see a doctor, tell your father the truth. Something is wrong if the issue hasn't gone away.

Have you always had this problem or did it just start outta the blue? You should just be upfront about it with your dad. lt's a health problem, and nothing to be embarassed by. If it just started outta the blue, you should see your doctor, it could be a more serious problem.
