My crush is sadly straight :( he got all weirded out and was like " I'm not gay" and so I told him that I wasn't gay and how I was bi and he las like " same thing" (it's not the same at all!)

I told someone who I liked and he just said that he's straight and always will be.

the friendship between us had always been a bit awkward/uncertain but when i told him (he already knew i was gay) he took it really well and said he was truly flattered but that he was straight. why are these guys always straight?!

I've told people I'm interested in them on multiple occasions. Typically, it's easier if I know they're gay. If I know they're straight, I am a bit more careful about it because I don't want to offend, put off, or insult them. Most the straight men to whom I've told that I'm attracted to them took it very well and were quite flattered. Quite a few a good friends.

Well I know my crush is straight, so I don't see any point in telling him that I've fallen for him since he's one of my best friends and I don't want to jeopardise our friendship by potentially making it awkward.... He's completely fine with me being gay (really supportive actually and always willing to listen to my rants about gay stuff) and I have gone as far as saying 'you're not ugly, you're hot' when he was on about how he must be ugly or something because he hasn't had a serious girlfriend. He was flattered by that and just said 'aww thank you' and put his arm around me in a sort of 'bro-hug' way.

Tbh I always hug him and make sexual banter so he probably has some idea anyway :p

I hate that I live in the place that has a serious lack of my sexuality ( in men especially :( )
I would love a day when a new boy, that obviously likes other boys, comes to my school. That would be the best day of my life :D
