I'm in AP European History this year, and as far as I know, will be taking AP World as one of my classes next year.
I've heard it's suicide worthy and the workload is inhumane, even with the nicest teachers.
Can anyone attest to this?

Yeah, these are pretty much the two hardest AP histories - from what I've heard. I've never taken either of them but I have taken AP US and I'd say it was fairly difficult. I really detested the dbq's but I wasn't bad with the tests. I can already tell you that there will be a ton of reading. Oh, and you'll probably have map quizzes - so basically you'll have to learn all the countries in the world. But if you've already taken European History, then I'd say you're well-prepared for World History. I mean, a good portion of world history is European history so you're already equipped with some pre-knowledge for the class. The workload may be extremely difficult but not impossible. I'm sure you'll do fine.

From what I heard any AP History classes are a lot of work anyways! Although it's a lot of work for the students, I hear great stuff about the actual class and how interesting it is! I take regular world history and I love it! I think you would be learning the same thing, just a little more depth and much more work, but I usually don't like history, but I'm loving it actually!

What do you think of AP European History? (Slightly off-topic) I cannot stand it, worse choice ever.

I had the option to take AP Euro for next year, said no. Same with AP US last year.
AP World wasn't that bad to me, I find history pretty easy.
