Ok so ive got some green rep but ive also got a couple of grey ones what do they mean are they bad or good?

You don't have it anymore. Once you get enough good rep green bars will replace grey ones.

Neutral rep is given when someone with a reputation power of 0 or negative reputation has tried to rep you. The grey reputation does stay in your history, and can be seen in your archive. It has no effect on your reputation whatsoever, but you'll need to judge for yourself if the reputation was given positively or negatively through the comment left.

Grey rep isn't a bar, and nothing is replaced. It is just left in your User CP and only you can see it. Since it has no effect on your reputation, you can just simply ignore it. :)

It will stay grey. If they have good reputation next time and rep you again, it should add to your power/bar, but as theirs stays at 0 or red, nothing will happen. Once rep is given it stays like that, it is not affected by the user and does not change accordingly.

You will see the gray rep bar under someone's rep power if they have rep disabled. If they have zero rep, like the guy in this (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?p=116316#post116316) post, it will still be green. However, if that user repped you, in your CP, it will appear gray because they don't have any rep to give you, thus your rep won't be adjusted.

So basically, you're both right, however I believe the OP was talking about when they view it in the user cp, and not on the forums.
