Confused...

Well, I've always hung out with the openly gay/bi group of kids at my upper school, but always thought I was completely straight. After about six months of being at my upper school, I've got to know this girl, and I think I like her... And it's freaking me out. I'm not sure if it's just because I've always been with the gay/bi kids, or it's just me... Help? :confused:

During puberty a lot of teens become sexually curious and begin to want to experiment with the same sex. It doesn't happen to everybody; but it's possible that this is what you're going through. That, or you may be bisexual or homosexual. These feelings are very common but are not something that many teens have the opportunity to discuss with their friends out of fear, embarrassment or apprehension. It's possible that some of your closest friends even feel this way; but likely won't admit it under any circumstance. You're not alone.
