User CP and threads that were read

No threads ever show up in my control panel and whenever there's no threads with new posts in a section, it still shows that there is new posts when I go to the main page (like how in the black and gold theme it has the gold circle and there's a dot inside of it when there's new posts). It's ever so slightly annoying. Any ideas why?

When there are no new threads in a forum, view the forum then return to the homepage and it should be marked as unread. Which browser are you using?

Like if I read all of them then leave the section then go back into the section then leave again? That works. I'm using an android phone. I'm pretty sure it still does it on a computer too though, but it's been a while since I viewed VT on a computer. It's been happening for a while now.

I'll go check it out if necessary but it might be ten minutes or so. It's pretty hard to hide a computer screen when my dad's home on a weekend.

I've also been getting this issue for a while. I read a thread that's the only one that's unread in a section, then go directly to the index. The forum icon should be a read icon, but it's not. It's still unread. Only if I go into the forum then back out does it go read again. It seems to have happened after the issue I reported here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=167624) and I think the second the last post is a similar, if not same, problem to this.

I use the vBulletin theme and Chrome.

I use black and gold too, and it's been happening to me. The same thing when a mod deletes a thread for example, for me, it shows up as the actual thread with nothing in it but a black page with gold at the top. My user cp is fine, it's the whole thread marked view things, I end up having to go into a section and manually mark it read. I use chrome, if that's what the issue is.

I figured out the CP. The subscriptions option changed somehow. I have no idea how that happened. It got set to "do not subscribe" or whatever the option is.

If I set it to "no email notification", it still shows in the cp, right?

EDIT: What Kryptonite showed is the same thing that happens to me with deleted threads. I've never noticed it before but the thread linked does that.
