I would introduce your boyfriend to the family as a friend first. Then maybe just tell your most trusted family member about it privately first and see how they react. They will probably be pretty understanding and love you either way.

If you don't feel like telling them right away. Don't do it.
You can meet him anyway around your parents it's normal to bring friends home and spend loads of time with them. This way they might get an idea of your closeness to him which makes it easier to talk to them about later.

Well my step dad is a major homophobic but my mom and older did is bi. So I could tell them but my step dad is also an alcoholic and becomes a dick, so I'm scared that he will say nasty things about it. And I'm still scared about everyone in my community not really li
