So in the past year I've been going on more and more trips and traveling a ton. And I know you may be thinking, "Wow!! That's great!!", but my stomach sure doesn't. I have motion sickness kinda bad. Like I can't be in a car for more than 10 minutes, 5 minutes even sometimes, or be in a plane for more than 20 minutes, or even on a cruise ship that's not even moving for more than 30 minutes without getting really nauseous. Anyone else go through this? Anyone know how to prevent or treat it?

Not exactly, but I have get vertigo quite often and my doctor gave me some motion sickness pills called Antivert, which was basically to help with the nausea I got from it. So, if you can get your doctor to give you some, you could take them before you know you'll be travelling that long. Otherwise avoid eating things that might bother your stomach even if you weren't travelling, or feel kind of "heavy". I get a tiny bit car sick as well, and I try to look at something in the car or straight ahead, and avoid looking out the windows.

Me, me, me, me, me, me. I'm the queen of motion sickness. If I'm not driving, 25-30 minutes in the car will have me nauseous as fuck. It's terrible.
I take (and have taken for the past like 14 years) dramamine. It comes in drowsy and less (non) drowsy depending on if you want to sleep or not. It's OTC and it works for me like a charm, and I'd totally recommend it. I took it for a plane trip too and it worked well.
Good luck, & enjoy your travels!

I kinda do. I kinda feel sick if I'm in some ride that moves a lot. Sometimes it's a car but it could also be an amusement ride or something. Also get kind of sick if I watch a video with lots of movements. I don't throw up, just don't feel good >_>

The best way to treat motion sickness is to stop the motion but this isn't always practical. If you can't stop the motion, sit or lie down in an area with the least motion. In an airplane, try to sit near the wings. On a ship, stay on the deck and look at the horizon. Or, if you are inside, move to the center of the ship.
You also can take prescription and nonprescription medicine to prevent or reduce symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Most medicines work best if taken before travel

Thanks a TON you guys. I went and bought ginger gum. It really works, it's amazing. It makes the nausea go away pretty much instantly and it lasts for like an hour. I love it.

Never tried ginger gum but dramamine is like my best friend, stuff really works wonders but if you go on the ship, not entirely sure where you get them but they have sea sickness patches you put just behind your ear and its said to work.

If a car or bus or whatever mode of transportation i'm on, If I can't see the road ahead of me, I get nauseous. This past year though, it's been acting up and I'm chewing ginger or a really horrible tasting gravol ginger. I get vertigo a lot too and a lot more recently. It happens when i'm drinking all the time and when i'm driving 90% of the time, which is why i'm always so paranoid when I'm driving alone or even with someone..
