what is rep and why is mine 1 how do i change that and how do you post in differnt sections????

You gain reputation, when members find your post useful or that they add to the sense of the topic.

You already got some, as your power went to 1, the more your reputation is, the more power you have to lower or raise someone elses.

BTW, read the FAQ they do have good information

Don’t get too worked up about it though, you don’t get any special privileges if you have a higher rep than others, and no administrative action is taken based on it.
If you feel that the rep system was abused, and you therefore received reputation from someone you shouldn't have, PM one of the admins, who will look into the case. But remember, just because someone may not agree with you, doesn't mean the rep was given unfairly.


And you post in different sections just like you posted in this one - it's all the same.
