Barefoot - curiousity

Hi.

I have a female friend who likes to walk barefoot at school and some times at the street, the shopping etc.

Do you think it's strange? Where do you use to walk barefoot outside your home?

I used to walk bare foot to the ice cream van when it came round and I don't walk barefooted anywhere else but my house

I do wherever I can. At my school musical rehearsals we all walk around in just socks. During the summer i don't wear shoes or socks unless I absolutely have to.

I walk barefoot during the summer, but just around the house. I think she should definitely wear shoes to school. I think it's appropriate to go barefoot to the store only if it's a local store. If you go to the mall or something, you should wear shoes.

I go barefoot as much as I can but it's just around the house or outside. You're not allowed to walk bare foot at school or at stores around here.

I only walk barefoot at home. I don't think this is strange, a lot of people do it.

I love being barefoot at home and over grassy areas. Oriental medicine say that whenever you are walking barefoot, you are grounding your negative energy and also recharging you Chi with energy from mother earth or Gia.

The sole of the feet has a lot of nerve endings, and it is relaxing to walk barefoot as you allow the ground to connect with those endings.

Yeah, I totally agree with that.

There aren't a lot of areas where you can walk barefoot here, though. :P
But, when I'm on vacation, I'm usually barefoot most of the time. It feels a lot more comfortable. :)

If the weather's warm, I often walk around the house barefoot and also in the garden. It's a bit risky walking barefoot in public places because of dirt or glass.

Is it weird that I never wear socks even when I wear shoes? I live in Wisconsin and it's super cold out here and my mom thinks I'm totally nuts for this but I didn't think it was that strange. I'll go barefoot as often as I can but will just wear shoes if I go out. Is it abnormal to wear shoes without socks?

Always in the summer, inside and outside but never anywhere public. I wouldn't want to either, has to be some funky shit on the floor in those places.

I never wear shoes in the house, ever. When it's warm I go barefoot a lot, but not to public places because it's not allowed and as others have said, it'd be a bit gross.

I used to walk outside barefoot that when I was little, especially when I went to the countryside, but I don't do it anymore, manly because hygiene, risk of injury and that it damages the skin.
I sometimes walk barefoot indoors, in the summer.

I would go barefoot all the time if it was possible... but I only go BF at home or on hollidays, at the beach or sometimes at the park
