The Beatles changed music by bringing uniqueness to the table. They helped create rock as it is today, in some form or another.

originality. all rock bands today, up to a point, are influenced by the beatles. they were awesome

The Beatles, in my mind, were one of the world's greatest bands with some of the world's greatest artists. To me, The Beatles did more than what people precieves. They were pretty much the band that started the British Revolution in the US and it changed the music interests in America, just like Jazz did some many years earlier. If it weren't for bands like The Beatles, The Doors, The Monkees etc., that door would have never been opened. It's all thanks to The Beatles for taking that first step by introducing themselves to the world, just like all other bands have done.

Hehe, I stumbled across this thread while listening to The Beatles. They influenced every bit of music after them. Music would not be where it is today without them.
