Im looking in to buying some new computer speakers and a sound card.
Anyone got any reccomendations?
Im looking for a 2.1 set, and pci sound card.

yep :) chaintec is pretty good ^^ I have the fiber optic hooked up to my sonys... though ya know... it kinda blows that Im operating in 7.1, but i only have 5 speakers and a sub woofer :(

because it acts like a 5.1 system even though its running in 7.1 :? the 7.1 doesnt translate into incompatability, it just adds more depth

just by looking at it, I'd say its 9-10" wide, 16-18" tall and about 9-10" in depth

heh, serious bass though 8) responds and creates frequencies as low as 6Hz ...though i think that i can only hear as low as 8 :? anyway, adds to the big booms ^_^

yeah, the speaker stretches all the width of the box, so 9-10" and with that, i'd say that the depth was at leas 4-6"

*whistles* wow... thats like 150+ for each speaker and 200+ for the sub... nice... but i have to check the box to see my watts :P

bah i just have a creative 5.1 surround sound. nothing special, not a fancy audigy 2z high definition sound card or anything... just the normal boring 5.1. if i really want a boom i hook myself up to our reciever downstairs and play with our home entertainment system

i got 7.1 and i mean it knocks next doors pictures and ornaments off of their walls and fireplace. it is shit hot!
