jockstrap shopping

So I have to go jockstrap shoppin for the first time, and I am taking my best guy friend... any tips on what to look for? And how can I tell what size cup that I will need?

When I shop for them I just look for comfort on the garment itself, for the cup it's really for me just placing it over your penis(like above your pants not in your pants) to see if everything will fit comfortably within the cup. For me, I prefer to wear compression shots with a cup pocket and when needed ill throw a cup in.

make sure you get one that fits dont try and show of by getting the biggest one there this will just make what ever sport your play uncomfortable

my dad buys them for me, you might want to ask your dad what he suggests
as for size, everyone thinks it's the size of your junk, but it's not. it's your waist size. so just buy whatever size matches your waist. the pouch on the jock stretches to watever size your junk is. even stretches to hold a boner LOL

It's the waistband size that counts. It's the same you wear for you underwear. Also there are different types of jockstraps for different sports. Do you know what kind you need? For what?

I will be in baseball and wresling.

Wrestling and baseball use a jockstrap without cup or you can try compression shorts for baseball. Catchers wear a cup supporter, usually required.

For wrestling a cup isn't really necessary so don't worry about that but for baseball I would say give it your best guess and if you don't like it you can always get another one that fits better. I never liked a cup with compression shorts but everyone has a preference. You'll figure it out for yourself. And quick trust me. Lol

I would buy a jockstrap with a cup pocket like the UnderArmour or ShockDosctor ones then you can use it wrestling or baseball (with the cup)
