when you are not related in any way, why should that be a problem?

as long as theres no child coming out of an incestuous relationship there is NO valid argument against it

Biologically, no problem at all. Legally depends on the country/state, incest is clearly illegal between blood relatives, but some laws include step relatives related by adoption or marriage.

I'll have to agree on this and while it may not be incest or even against the law where you live there's still the moral question and what happens if the relationship goes bad between a step brother and a step sister it not as if you going to be able to avoid them. I think it would a bad idea if only looking at it from the family dynamics and the impact it could have on other members of the family.

That is true in some countries, but in the USA, many states also apply incest laws to non-blood relatives, including step-parents and step-siblings. Same goes for the UK and Australia. Russia on the other hand, says that is not unlawful if it is consensual and between adults even blood related.

So it all depends where you are from...

Its a lil strange to me, but sure why not? if you aren't related at all.

The biggest worry I think would be awkward family situations later in life - you should think about that!

On an entirely theoretical elvel, i don't think that there are problems.
The "Taboo" that is incest in pretty much every culture of the world is entirely to be blamed on the fact that humanity as always adopted and created morlas and ethics that regard sex as a generally "impure" and "dirty" thing, of which no more than the necessary should be spoken.
The value that we give to such physical acts is the value we are taught to give them.
In an imaginary society where sex is regarded as a mere physical and recreative activity (without taking anything to its role in reproduction), there would probably be no taboo regarding incest, as it would be considered normal, just like a hug or caress is between 2 relatives.
Practically speaking, you should check the laws of the state/country you live in.

As long as y'all aren't related in any way, shape, or form, I personally think it'd be fine. SO LONG AS you're doing it with consent of both parties :D
