I'm neutral towards him. I dislike some of his fans because they're so shallow and only like him for superficial reasons such as his looks and not to mention how utterly stupid some of them are... really, sending death threats to Selena Gomez? If they really are fans they should be supportive (Provided the situation is not Chris Brown getting back with Rihanna, where some people are not supportive for obvious reasons).

At the same time, I dislike some of his haters as well. They are so bigoted; some of them feel that just because they like music like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin it automatically makes them superior, or they hate him just because it's 'cool' to do so.

Yeah, I don't like him. I'd respect him somewhat if he wrote his own songs but really he just gives a little bit of input into them while someone else does the majority of the work. That's the main reason I dislike 1D as well but that's another argument. I really hate what he did to his fans, getting there at 10:30pm while the majority of his fans are 10 years old and have to get home to fucking bed! Especially with most of them having to get the tube from the O2 and let me tell you, if you miss that you're practically fucked. Letting down his fans and disrespecting them is not cool. I don't like the lyrics to his songs, the genre of music he sings, his voice, the sound of the songs, the fact that they're always stuck in your head even if you don't know the damn words and don't remember ever hearing if before. However that's a personal opinion. I know he has loads of fans that adore him so I'll just leave them to it.

That's exactly how I feel, same with One Direction. They're attractive guys (at least to girls) but the music is lame.

His music is too "pop-y" for me, I do not like the utmost stupidity displayed in some of his lyrics ( I.e "Swag, swag, swag on you; chillin' by the fire while we eat fondue" ) and his style isn't something I like either. He relies too much on being attractive to young girls than actually singing meaningful lyrics and trying to make something worthwhile of his career.
I'm more of a rock/metal chick.
But, I do admit that he is an okay singer.

i don't really hate him. It's just that sometimes I go with the flow and pretend to be mean. Like if someone said he sings like a girl, I would agree with them. but that was before i ever listened to any of his songs.After I heard his voice, I went,"He does not sound that girly." I find some of them pretty dull and some interesting. As long as you love me may be lame to you, but it does have a pretty catchy tune. I listened to this once and now it's stuck in my head every now and then. whenever i come on this forum, i hear it playing in my head. boy, it does get annoying. and i don't even agree with some of the lyrics.
