Teen modeling sites - good or bad for confidence?

So I noticed a couple girls here (LolaHaze is one) model for these 'teen model sites' that i never knew about until recently. i guess the idea is they're like glamour sites like Maxim or FHM or whatever but for girls OUR age to model.

I could see something like this being really fun but boy would my parents kill me. Who pays for the sites and do you know anyone who does it? Do u think it makes girls more confident about their body at our age?

They get paid by selling subscriptions to access the sites, which is kinda creepy because you don't know who or why they are looking at you. I don't if this kind of modeling could help you in a career or hurt you. I know one girl was on Oprah and she asked the girl what she thought it would get her. The girl said it got me here! True story! ha ha

I would hope only agents do. It all depends on the girl too. But everyone at this age has some sort of insecurity. All girls should be happy about their bodies. I would say that only previously confident girls would model. Girls that just dont care what the rest of the world thinks.

It sounds a little creepy to me since you give all control away of your image and likness to perfect strangers over the web. It maybe fun now but what happens after you out of college and these pictures pop up while trying to land that dream job. Just remember that once the cat is out of the bag it's forever.

There are plenty of legit agencies around that will protect your rights andmost of these don't do direct post to the internet.

Well you don't need an agency to get guys looking at you :) just set up a free website at say tumblr or wordpress and post some pics. That way you control what you post and when. You'll get lots of nice comments which should boost ur confidence.

Just make sure if you post anything sexy you don't show your face that way the pics cant come back to haunt you later.

I think it can be great for your confidence, but of course only if you are classically attractive, else you may get some negative comments
