I'm Lost

I'm not new to cutting. I've actually been doing it since 6th grade. When I try to tell my parents about it then they don't want to hear it. I once tried to tell my best friend and she went and told all of her other friends. The school counselor will just tell my parents but it won't make a big difference. I don't have anyone to talk to about it because I was perfectly fine over the summer but now it's starting to get worse to where I could be half asleep and start getting the urge and I don't have anything to cut with and I'll just dig my nails into my skin as deep as I can. I don't know who to talk to and what to do about it.

You can talk to me about it :) I know that I'm just online, but if you want somebody to talk to then you can post on my wall. I'll gladly talk to you about anything, and also I know what you're going through, so I can relate. Don't worry, you'll get through this. It won't be easy, but you will. Does your school have a psychologist? If you don't know for sure that they don't ask around, you may be surprised to find there was an actual psychologist and you never knew it. They will talk and help without informing your parents. You tell them not to tell anyone and they can't. If not then maybe look for someone in your area online and email them explaining your situation and ask what you should do. No one's ever alone, they just don't see the people waiting to help. They won't find you, you have to find them.
