Don't rush. That's the worst thing you can do, you have to be ready. And tell those who are easier to tell first, because the more people you tell the easier it gets! Plus, the bigger deal you make out of it, the harder it will be for you. So try to sort of 'play it down' a bit, obviously it's a huge thing for you and you're so nervous over it but if you make a huge deal over it then you'll either be underwhelmed in a way by the response or it'll make it all the more difficult to just come out with what you want to say.
Hope this helps, good luck :) It's a really tough time in your time, but honestly it feels so good to be out to people so hopefully you can do it, whether it takes you time or you get it out the way.

This really does some it up really well ^. I will just add that it's an irreversible decision (you can't undo it). You have to be ready to accept any possible consequences good or bad.

Exactly. If coming out will bring you the "happiness" you desire I say still wait. My rents are on the fence about bi or gay, but have met a few of my friends that are. Also spoke with their rents. Hopefully that'll ease my coming out if they open themselves up. Until then I'll be chilling next to you and the moth balls.

Guys, I have great news... I am finally out of the closet and I feel great now that the metaphorical shackles on my identity are lifted!

Perfect. Nothing that's not right. But, make sure that you're ready. You might lose some friends, gain some more, and that's a good thing. Sure, you may have likes those friends you lost, but if they left you cuz of this, they were never that good of friends anyway. I really hope you come out of this on top (pardon the pun, not what I meant :P) because I sure did, and I'm so much happier
