Chances are, parting it out wont get you anywhere really. I don't think there isn't much need for a couple sticks of DDR 128mb ram.

You could always load up a small distro of linux if you want to use it yourself, that would hopefully speed it up.

Turn it into a router? Nas device? Upgrade it? (If possible), Play older games on it? Use it as a beta pc? (Beta OS testing),

Or just dump it, recycle it lol

I turned my old PC into a server PC. I use it to store some files and run game servers whenever I wish to.
If hooked up to your network correctly, it can act as more hard drive space if your not into gaming.

you could always use it as a media library or a web server to make your own websites.
Or even a minecraft server. or a server for any other game you might play.
I turned my old laptop into a mobile all-in-one PC/tablet (Litterally, no joke)

Donate.
There are people out there who want a computer and don't care the capabilities, because they need one. Don't do like my dad did to his old Atari, dumping it.

I believe first you have to delete all the data from the hard-drive- then after that just burn it in a fire!!!!:D

Personally, I'd install something called [email protected], and leave it running 24/7.

[email protected] is a great program which helps find cures for diseases, read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foldingathome
