Hey guys, I found my sisters old skins DVD boxset and decided to waste my sunday evening watching it. I'm really addicted to it now and I'm just wondering if anyone used to watch it. I've only seen the first two series and I think they were shown in 2007 and 2008 so I'm unsure if it still popular.

So yeah I would be so amazed if anyone else is a fan of it because it is just the perfect example of a gritty british teen drama. It literally has everything. Including Nicholas Hoult and Mitch Hewer who are probaly the best pairing to only have a one night stand

ahh it's so great isn't it. I've watched it for like a day but I've became obessing. I've even got Maxxie and Tony as my avatar now. They were from the first two series, but really I love how extreme the plot lines are in it. Its so true of teenage life thought :)

Love Skins :)

Second gen took a while to get used to as I was so attached to first gen. Sid & Cassie for me, even though I found them rather unsatisfying once it actually happened, then I kept getting mad at Sid. Naomily won me over with second gen though. I did kind of wish Maxxie and Tony happened, but Naomily made up for it.

I haven't seen a ton of third gen due to issues getting access to it over here. What I have seen of it is all from Netflix.

Really excited for season 7, even though it'll be the last.

it's REALLY REALLY good, one of my favorite coming-of-age/growing-up type shows. MTV tried to make a US version and failed horribly.

I love that show. I mean, it covers a lot of things that teenagers go through and do and in my part of the world (over here in North America) a lot seems to get censored more often than not in our media. So I like the realism and you can relate to it.
