Black Ops 2 Zombies ranking system?

so last time I played I had a few strikes on my name with glowing skull eyes. Now I just have a normal skull without any strikes

from what i kno the game is based on downs,deaths and high rounds...the more downs and deaths you get in one game the more your rank will go down and for high rounds you'll need money in the bank,a team that has mics,and the power on at round one so u can pack a punch,get perks,ect....but if u can beat the highest score than u had than u will get ranked back up
