Are you saying the doctor didn't let you wear a hospital gown or at least have you covered with a sheet during the pelvic exam? This is highly inaproprite in my opinion for a doctor to do this. I would have walked out of the exam if my doctor had suggest this.

First time or not it's not a practice of most or any doctors I have ever heard of and borders on sexual abuse by a Physician in most states.

well i'm a guy so i dont know about girls physicals but it is really common for a guy's mom to sit in on his physicals. guys are just supposed to deal with that even if the doctor makes them get naked.
