ok i got a new gf and we wanna make out but i wanna be safe because i got mono in 6th grade (2yrs ago) and i dont want to give it to her. so i was wondering if i can still give it to her even tho it was a wile ago. When i had it i never gave it to anyone but i made out with 1 chick likle a year ago and she threw up blood and i dont know if that was from me because she did it a week later. So can i still spread it?

Agreed. You have almost nothing to worry about. #1: Spread of Mono is actually rare. And with those cases most symptoms are mild. Mono usually occurs with fever, tender or swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, and sore throat. The most extreme symptoms include enlarged spleen, hemorrhages, enlarged prostate, and uncontrolled shaking. #2 About the story with the chick you made out with a year ago, it probably wasn't your mono. Because, if I understand correctly, she threw up blood a week after kissing. Mono incubation periods are actually relatively long, usually a month or two. So, really, don't worry about that, it probably was something else. #3 After not having mono for two years, the potential for spreading the disease is about as likely as anyone else. You have no better chance of spreading it than I do. So, I say, go ahead and make out. But if you really are concerned about it, go ahead and consult your Doctor.

Actually, mono can be spread at anytime in your life, especially within 7 years. Its rare that you will spread it, but its a possibilty.
